Grass Markers are flat markers that lay on the ground. They are usually about 4 inches thick. We set them at a tilt in the cement they are out of the cement about 4 inches in the back and about 1 1/2 inches out in the front. This makes them easier to read and lets the rain water run off of them.  A typical single sized grass marker is 12 x 24, a companion marker is either 36 x 12 or 36 x 14 if we need more space for the design.

 

Slants or Wedges are just that slanted. These markers are about 10 inches wide at the base. This makes them very stable and they can sit either in the cement alone, or on a granite base.

 

Slants also sit upright this is nice so that you can add children’s names to the back of a stone. Or if you like you could add a verse.

 

Here we have upright monuments. Upright monuments stand straight up and down. A standard sized monument is 6 inches thick. Upright monuments are sold with their granite base. The top piece is attached to the base with a setting compound made to seal granite together. Monuments are polished on the front and back, you also have the option to have the top polished.
